The Perfect Day Partnership consists of an exclusive syndicate of 8 shareholders, who all are like minded and have one vested interest - Bai Zhu and his welfare. All are passionate about the sport, in particular National Hunt racing, and are involved in The Perfect Day Partnership for one reason - to have fun and to realise their dream of owning a top class racehorse.
The Racing Manager: Sasha Thorbek-Hooper was educated at RoedeanSchool in Brighton before going on to complete a BSc (Hons.) in Animal Science at the University of Leeds. She joined Newbury Racecourse straight from university inAugust 1998 and has hadvarying roles within the racecourse from marketing to 
sponsorship and now as Royal Box Hostess. 
Sasha also managed the Newbury Racehorse Owners Group for 13 years, which had a huge amount of success through its numerous National Hunt winners at Newbury and other top grade tracks; most notable success coming from Papini. Sasha has ridden out all of her life but over the past 13 years she has ridden out for several trainers in Lambourn including William Muir and Mikael Magnusson but now mainly for Nicky Henderson and Marcus Foley.
Sasha has stepped away from Newbury Racecourse
and now has several roles including being a PA to a notable bloodstock agent, Racing Manager for The Perfect Day Partnership as well as other individualowners. On top of this Sasha has a career in broadcasting and is BBC Radio Berkshire’s racing expert with a weeklySaturday slot; but most importantly Sasha has the best job in the world - being a mother to 5 children!
Day to Day Running: As the partnership’s racing manager, Sasha keeps all of the owners informed of any relevant news via email or telephone on a weekly basis, if not more frequently. Sasha is also the point of contact with regard to organising stable visits, which are done either collectively, or on an individual basis to suit each owner; as well as raceday badges and hospitality.
